Cherie Alison has been Head Professional & Golf Services Manager at Concord Golf Club since 2015. She is a Certified Vocational Member of the PGA.
Alison has gained a lot of achievements when playing as an amateur in 1990s, which include:
- – Winner of the 1993 Australian Junior Foursomes Championship
- – Winner of the 1998 Australian Ladies Foursomes Championship
- – Winner of the 1999 Victorian Amateur Championship
- – Leading Amateur at the 2000 AAMI Women’s Australian Open
She turned professional in 2000 and has played on the Ladies European Tour for eight years and the LPGA for one year, and she has also played the summer events on the ALPG Tour.
From all of her experiences, she has been involved and gained rich skills in all parts of the game including long game, short game and course management. In addition, by learning from the best golf coaches, fitness trainers and sports psychologists during her time from being an amateur to a professional, she has obtained knowledge of how to help students of all levels.
